Convert/move multiple entries into a split entry?

Many thanks to Robert & the Novacks. I am no longer subtracting dues 
from the checking account. :-)

Ref: making split entries for a deposit. I have already entered several 
deposits of checks and cash.  Is there a fairly simple method to combine 
or move several lines into a single split entry. Not a lot of them but I 
don't relish retyping.
