James, the screaming that Andy referring to is that using all-capitals
is often taken to be SHOUTING in online forums.

I assume that when you write GANU you mean GnuCash, because it's the
GnuCash forum that you're posting to.

If you want any assistance, you'll need to provide more information
about what you've done and what you see, "I can't get anything to open
to start using Ganu" really doesn't give anyone much of an idea of what
you've done or exactly what the problem is.

After downloading the correct (PowerPC or Intel) version of GnuCash for
your Mac, double-click on the downloaded .dmg file to open it, then
click-and-drag the Gnucash application icon from the opened .dmg file's
window into your Applications folder on the Mac. It can then be accessed
by double-clicking on the Gnucash icon in your Applications folder or by
single-clicking its icon in Launchpad. You can also click-and-drag the
copy of Gnucash in the Applications folder into your Dock bar.

GnuCash won't run properly if you try to run it direct from the opened
,dmg file. You have to make a copy of it to run it.

If that doesn't help you get going, please post just what happens that
makes that process go wrong.

Peter
