What do you do with old uncleared transactions?

It is easy to explore this by following the unbeaten route, namely

Tools / General Ledger

which sort of gives you access to your accounts regardless.

It is generally suggested you know what you are doing at that point but 
you've been here a while so it shouldn't be a secret.
