What is the fix for ibus exit

No, the autoremove will not have any effect on Gnucash.

Did you reboot?

What exactly is the problem that you are seeing that makes you want to
run ibus exit?
What do the following show in a terminal?  (copy/paste the result,

apt-cache policy gnucash

apt-cache policy ibus-gtk
