The announcement for version 2.6.9 says it addressed a serious problem that version 2.6.8 had with Microsoft Windows. Several people also reported problems using version 2.6.8 with the latest version of Mac OS X. Another poster did say that 2.6.9 ran fine under OS X 10.11, whereas version 2.6.8 hung on startup. Did 2.6.9 also address the Mac OS X problem, or was Robert Kesterson just lucky?
