Upgrading Question

I have Mint 17.2 and had GC 2.6.8 installed.  The updater offered me GC 
2.6.9, apparently from getdeb.  It installed and seems to be working 
fine.  Don't know what you are seeing, but I did not have to uninstall 
GC.  I did close it, but don't know if that made a difference.  Sorry I 
can't be more helpful.  Mike
