I recall that there is a long standing but very rare bug in the Windows
7 OS version of Gnucash where reports come up blank on the screen but if
you save them to html or PDF format you can see them with an appropriate
viewer.  I just did a search for the bug, and found
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=645273.  I recall that the
solution in comment 40 worked for me.  It involved changing the default
internet browser to IE9 then changing it back, which suggests that it
actually is a Windows bug.
