Not strictly speaking true. All of us who know how to send commands to 
the listbot "mailman" could do it. Would have to know her password, though.

PS: Anybody expecting me to help them with things like this must agree 
to stay in "chat mode" email contact with me through the process. That's 
because THEY, not I, would be getting the feedback from "mailman". If 
the address of a list is a-b at c.org then the command address for that 
list is a-b-requests at c.org    and if you send "mailman" the command 
"help" (without the quotes, nothing else in the email) "mailman" will 
send you an email telling you how to boss it around.
