Export import transactions from one Gnucash data file to another

Hi,


Whilst hosting my gnucash data on Google drive and accessing/updating it
from separate machines, I’ve somehow ended up with two separate files and
updated them individually, in other words without correctly synching a
single data file. So I’d like to export some transactions from one data
file and import them into another, to avoid re-entering them manually.


Have tried ‘export transactions to CSV’ and the corresponding ‘Import
transactions from CSV’, but can’t get it to work.


I can't find a help file or tutorial anywhere for these features so would
appreciate any help I can get on this..
