Hi David,

Yes it does. Open the account you want to import transactions to in a new
tab then select Menu->File->Import->Import Transactions from CSV to start
the importing dialog and select the cSVfile withthe data.

There is not any direct interaction with Excel but you can import as above
and export to CV files using
File->Export-> Export Transactions to CSV.

It is also possible to export and import account trees using other entries
in the above 
File->Import and File->Export menu items.
