Can I export all child accounts e.g Sales-> x and Sales-> y ?

My accountant wants a list of the sales my company has made. He is not
interested in any finer detail.
I personally would like to keep track of the sales in finer detail, in
particular recording if it is
* A product or consultancy.
* The location of the buyer.

If I set "Sales" to be a placeholder account,  is there any way of
exporting all the child accounts as CSV, without doing each individually?

I know that I could export the child accounts individually,  read them into
a spreadsheet and sort them by date for my accountant, but I was wondering
if there's an easier way.
