Problem with Get Quotes

Hi Frank:

Thanks for the suggestions.  A few comments:

gnu-fq-check reports v. 1.38.  For GC I upgraded to 2.6.11 about 2 weeks
ago from Sourceforge. There has also been software updates for Mac os
but predate the current problem.  I am able to connect to all internet
sites.

As an aside, I also run GC 2.6.11 on a Linux Mint laptop without errors
on the same network.
