Present/Future transaction dates are so, so wrong

Are you sure the years are right on the ones below the blue line?  If you're entering data from past years it is very easy to enter the month and day and then gnucash will tack on the current year.   I'd double check that.  Dates below the line should be future dates, relative to today's date.
