Present/Future transaction dates are so, so wrong

In addition to stating which operating system and version of GnuCash you're
running, what date and time does your computer think it is? (Look
especially at the year.)

If you're running some flavor of linux, you can open a terminal and type

date

(followed by the Enter key)
