Are you sure you're looking in ~/Library/Application Support and not /Library/Application Support? The '~' means your home directory; if you type that in the Go>Go to Folder... dialog it knows where to go, but if you're just navigating in the Finder window you won't see Library in your home folder unless you visit View>Show View Options from your home folder and check the "Show Library Folder" checkbox at the bottom of the list.
