Problems starting Gnucash under Windows 7

I have a Windows 7 SP1 32 bit VirtualBox guest that has 2048 MB of RAM.  
It currently has GnuCash 2.6.9 installed which runs great compared to 
Quicken.  I'm willing to install GnuCash 2.6.10 on it and see how it 
runs if you think that will provide useful information.
