When using any of the import features it is not possible to edit transactions.   However you can edit them while reconciling. If you want to flag transactions during import one way would be to set the destination to a special account for needing TLC so they can be found easily later.  I let them go to Unspecified.

On the whole, I love GnuCash, and am quite happy with the product.Something that has often been a frustration of mine is the inability tocomment on individual items at the time of reconciliation. If I've imported my credit card bill (as a qfx file), I often gettransactions that I need to do some research on.(ie, paypal [bunch of numbers] - dollar ammount). Searching the dollarammount in my email is a convenient way of finding the invoice for theparticular item, allowing me to assign the appropriate category/account.The problem is that I will have several of these (& I am working onstatements from months ago often, unfortunately), so that by the time I amdone processing that statement and am able to open up the account and add acomment to the item to better describe the purchase, I have to look it upagain.Would it be possible to enable editing / adding a comment to the individualtransaction at the time the statement is being reconciled? Would there beinterest in this feature from others? Am I missing a way of doing thisthat is already implemented?Thanks,Ben_______________________________________________gnucash-user mailing listgnucash-user at gnucash.orghttps://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user-----Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. You can do this by using Reply-To-List or Reply-All.
