How to show the net of two accounts?

Thanks for the reply. (I found it in my Spam folder.)
However, this didn't quite do it. When I tried what Macho suggested I got a
page that showed the correct amounts for the two accounts, but it didn't
sum the two. Instead, it just gave the total for the liability account
again.
Any further suggestions?
Thanks,
Luke
