Hi Ricardo,

Unfortunately, that is one of the quirks of the way GC stores some preferences 
as global and some as per-book.

In effect, you can't.

What you can do, though, to work around is have a 2nd user account for one of 
the sets of books... although that may be more inconvenient for your workflow 
than changing dates in GC every so often.

Although, whilst writing this, it occurs to me that it might be possible to 
put a wrapper script around GC that uses gsettings to set the preference 
before running GC and loading the relevant data file.... YMMV!
