Just to be clear, you have tried File->Open to open the file?

Subject: Can't open saved Windows7 files in Windows10
I did a fresh install of Windows 10 on my laptop. After installing GnuCash, I
copied my old GnuCash files ( saved from Windows 7) into the Windows 10
documents folder. This is the correct folder determined by saving a test
file while using GnuCash. All I can see when Gnucash opens is an Accounts
tab. No other tabs for banking, savings, credit cards, etc. are shown.
Is there a way to "recover" the missing tabs and/or info?
Thanks
