Adjusting column widths in GnuCash

Hello, GnuCash user;


Can anyone tell me how to adjust the column widths in a GnuCash 
account display? I can get some to widen BUT I cannot get the Balance 
column at the far right to adjust.  NO it will not adjust 
automatically,  in my "Savings Account" sheet the column does NOT 
display the first (left) number!
