It should probably be an info rather than a warning. It's just reporting the list of languages from defaults. It isn't the keyboard that sets it, it's the list of languages in System Preferences>Language & Region. Note that "C" replaces "en_US" from that list because GnuCash doesn't have an en_US message catalog.
