Question on multiple layered searches and exporting

No... usually you would search transactions for quick lookups ("warranty
claim... when did I buy the dishwasher?") rather than for regular analysis
which are better done by specialised transaction reports.

>From Openoffice (preferably) Calc or Writer, File>Open HTML file.
FWIW Excel has better handling of dollars and numbers.
