Hi,
FWIW, I have also seen this for a while now (a year or so), OpenSuSE Leap 
42.1, GC 2.6.12, KDE Plasma 5.5.5 at the moment, but I think also in GC 2.6.11 
or earlier.

It is quite annoying, and seemingly unpredictable...
