Selecting appropriate data file

It is possible in most operating systems to create a shortcut in some
convenient place like your desktop to point to the data file, and GnuCash
will automatically open it when you click on it.
Also, you can add a file name in the command line to force a certain file.
Use your imagination whether to use a Bash script to automate that...
