Hi Sean,
I assume you are running a Windows system if you've previously used Quicken -
it *may* help others to help you if they know which version of Windows you are
running. I can't help directly, because I use neither Windows nor transaction
downloads.
I will also note that reading that (Ubuntu/Mint) bug report suggests that the
real fix for those Linux systems was the installation of aqbanking-tools, which
the main package containing GC didn't mark as a requirement, but the optional
debug library did.
I suggest you hunt for aqbanking-tools, but those that know the Windows set-up
will hopefully dive in to answer better.
