New report - Compare current spending versus historic average

Thank you very much for your work on these new reports. The Transaction report update and the Transaction by Payee are going to get lots of use I can see.

I started trying to play with this Current vs. Average report and I’m having a heck of a time adjusting the settings in order to get anything to show up. (It just tells me there was an error, but not what the error was)

I can say right off, the tabs for Compare and General seem very confusing.

I can’t tell if one influences the other or not, or where I should set which time periods and how.

It seems some options only make sense if other options are set but they don’t all get grayed out and made inaccessible so I’m not sure. Presently, I’ve tried many possible combinations of period settings and nothing generates a report at all, just the non-error error message.

Any guidance, maybe a simple walk through for a sample comparison report?

Thanks in advance,

Adrien
