Did you realise you sent this just to me and not to the list? On this
list you have to use Reply All or similar when replying. I am
forwarding it to the list here.

Not for me it doesn't (still display split transaction) (version
2.6.15).  What do you see if you click on the Split toolbar button
after removing the splits?
