Version 2.6 17 No Longer Downloads Quotes

I have installed 1.45 (I think) and gotten a new API key from 
AlphaVantage.  Now the question is how to use this new API to enable 
Vanguard quotes?

While I've used Linux/GnuCash for some time, I'm an old guy and kind of 
need a "step by step" guide.
