Did you unset STRICT_TRANS_TABLES as suggested in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=784623#c13? <https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=784623#c13?>
If that doesn’t help you can try GnuCash 2.6.15.
