Help requested - delete a transaction

Some of my transactions have been somehow marked "read only" and when I try
to delete them, the app wont let me.  How do I remove the "read only"
setting?

Same thing for an account, if it has read only transactions, the account
wont delete.  The user guide does not seem to have any info about read only
transactions.
