[GNC] Cannot save custom checks

I'm having trouble saving custom check prints. When I try to save my custom settings, I get a dialog box that says:

Cannot Open File {odd symbols such as an "X" in a box}\Users\{my Windows User Name}\AppData\Roaming\GnuCash\Checks\PTA.chk: Invalid Argument.

If I attempt different file names to save as, I can get this message:

Cannot Open File {symbols such as an "X" in a box"}\Users\{my Windows User Name}\AppData\Roaming\GnuCash\Checks\1.chk: Input/Output Error

I am using GnuCash 3.2 on Windows 7. I encounter this error both when I am using a local copy of a .gnucash file on my local machine, and also when I am working with a .gnucash file on a remote server.

Any thought? Thanks to all the contributors,

Mike
