[GNC] transaction report missing subtotals

hi all

under the transaction report, i am able to get a view of any accounts i want
per month, but doesn't show a per month grand total (its blank). i am only
shown a total for all the months combined. 

i am also shown on the per month transaction report, a separate total per
account and no subtotal for a placeholder account. eg: each different
insurance expense is shown individually and no combined total of those
insurances is visible. the only solution i have is to export into
spreadsheet. are there any other solutions to this?

my goal is to only look at reports per month in columns.
