Screen goes black when trying to change split transaction

Using MacOS High Sierra

I want to change the transfer account

Double click the entry line, and get the Message, "Change split linked to a reconciled split?"

Click button "Change Split"

Screen goes completely black

Have to force quit to get back to screens.

Can anyone help?
