Hi Dennis, It would appear that swig2.0 has not been released for Ubuntu 18.04 but swig3.0 has. Generally you can often use updated versions of the libraries with GnuCash. It may not always work, particularly across major versions, but always worth a try. If it works let me know and I'll add a note. Cheers David
