[GNC] No file showing up at "Generic import transaction matcher"

I've tried importing .qfx files from downloads from two different banks:
Chase and USAA.  No files are showing up on the Generic import transaction
matcher, so I am unable to import transactions. 

 

Why is GnuCash not importing .qfx files in Version: 3.0. Build ID: git 3.0+
(2018-04-01)?  Is there a workaround that needs to be done?
