[GNC] Run GnuCash Upgrades Side-by-side With Older Versions

Sorry, disregard my below email.

Take a look at this -> https://portableapps.com/apps/office/gnucash_portable

It also says, "GnuCash Portable can run from a cloud folder, external drive, or local folder without installing into Windows. It's even better with the PortableApps.com Platform for easy installs and automatic updates."

Concerning the original post, if the installer explicitly tells you that you have to uninstall the older version, I don't think you can install two version of GnuCash in the same system.

However, if it doesn't, then perhaps you can move your current old version to a different directory, and install the new version in the default directory. You can start GnuCash from both of these directories later.

Please try this at your own risk. I don't use Windows anymore, so not sure if it'd work.
