Maf,

The transaction report capabilities have changed dramatically between 2.x and 3.x, so the OP would need to be using 3.5 to get those features. But otherwise you are correct.

Hi Nike,

I think the Transaction report can sort (and subtotal) by description.  That 
may get you close.
