[GNC] Using 4.3 on Mac - contradictory notification message on startup

PS The log file created after the above is only 12Kb long, and contains three deletions:

Shutting down GC and restarting it doesn’t bring up the above message, but when I close GC I get the 94 Kb log file I’ve referred to in a previous thread, with what appears to be every Scheduled Transaction represented 4 times like this:

It looks as though GC checks for the need to make a Scheduled Transaction on being opened by making a dummy run through them all and if it finds none needs to take place today it fails to clean up the working. If there is one or more Scheduled Transaction due, the tidying up is done, but these three transaction deletions are recorded.
