I wasn’t aware of that one.

There are two new reports with multi-period/comparison features in the Reports > Experimental menu. (one each for Balance Sheet & Income Statement)

Otherwise, you could create a traditional multi-column report with the Balance Sheet in one column and a P&L in the other.
