We have moved our accounts to a different program, so this was just to retrieve some old data.

You might have opened a backup file instead of the more current one.

Or, you have a view filter set on your accounts and the report is set for the same end of ’17 date.

Also 2.6.7 is very old. You should upgrade to at least 2.6.21 (last of the 2.6 series) if possible.
