Run the Transaction Report

Accounts/Accounts select Income and Expense accounts
Display/Subtotal table: enabled
Sorting/Primary Sortkey: account-name
Sorting/Primary Subtotal: true
Sorting/Secondary Sortkey: date
Sorting/Secondary Subtotal: monthly
Sorting/Hide transactions: enabled
