[GNC] Website Down

Does the website need to be up and running for updating security prices in
the Price Editor? Everytime I attempt to update prices since the website
went down, it hangs gnucash and I have to kill the process to exit the
program.  This always leave the program with a lockfile open and I have to
open my books and close the program normally to get the program functional
again.
