[GNC] Having trouble trying to use Gnucash instead of Aplos

Use File - > Export Accounts.
It will create a new data file with just your account tree without any
transactions.
Then File - > Open the new file.
The issue you are seeing is that when you delete the Imbalance account it
is trying to reassign all your transactions.... To Imbalance. So it
recreates the account.
