[GNC] help increasing size of font in GnuCash?

As I read that note, .local only came into play with GTK3.0 and up. Maybe backward compatibility is supported, or maybe the files were just copied into that location.

On my Mac, running Gnucash for about a year now, !/.local/share exists, but only contains files from other applications.
