Not specific to this, but…

I find the continual push towards more security a mixed blessing. In the effort to keep bad guys out, it creates problems for good guys.

I am probably hypersensitive to these issues, because I live in one country and have lots of my personal banking and other activities in another country. I feel like I am always on the edge of losing access to things. Once upon a time, you could make a phone call and straighten things out, but now it is often impossible to find a person to deal with. Or if you do, that person has no understanding or ability to fix things.

I’m wondering if they’ve pulled another year-end stunt of security changes without adequate documentation. If they’ve gone all-in on Quicken’s Express Web Connect, then we’re probably screwed. EWC is totally proprietary to Quicken, so we’ll never connect that way. If a qfx/ofx server is viewed as a security risk, then we’re even deeper in the “no service for you” category.
