[GNC] Securities Quote changes Don't Apply to all accounts

Hi, after I changed to version 4.2 following a hard disk breakdown, I have to enter all value changes manually to every instance of the Securities in every account they are used. The same thing happens for every transaction involving this commodity. I end up with a long list to manually modify.
I can’t find any way to set gnucash to modify them automatically. 
Gnucash version 4.2 on Windows 10.
What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me?
