[GNC] ofx.chase.com?

While I do not use GNUCash built in functionality of OFX to download
statement (both bank and credit card) from Chase, their OFX servers are
responding fine for download requests. For that fact, I just tested prior to
sending this e-mail out, inspected the output and it has transaction that I
expect to have them in it.

Chase does now and then perform maintenance which they do announce it on
their web site when you login to the account at www.chase.com and providing
applicable authentication. It is best to try another day (12 hours apart)
and if you are getting errors then it an issue and possibly on the client
side.

I?m wondering if they?ve pulled another year-end stunt of security changes
without adequate documentation. If they?ve gone all-in on Quicken?s Express
Web Connect, then we?re probably screwed. EWC is totally proprietary to
Quicken, so we?ll never connect that way. If a qfx/ofx server is viewed as a
security risk, then we?re even deeper in the ?no service for you? category.

I have been "on my own" with open source for years, so I understand. For the
record I am not a windows user or admin, but I still wind up supporting it.
That's why...

...this is such a good idea (though it would be a FreeBSD virtual machine
for me; technical issues would mandate this). Thank you. :)

Not specific to this, but?

I find the continual push towards more security a mixed blessing. In the
effort to keep bad guys out, it creates problems for good guys.

I am probably hypersensitive to these issues, because I live in one country
and have lots of my personal banking and other activities in another
country. I feel like I am always on the edge of losing access to things.
Once upon a time, you could make a phone call and straighten things out, but
now it is often impossible to find a person to deal with. Or if you do, that
person has no understanding or ability to fix things.

How do I set the main window attributes in my gtk-3.0 file? Have set the

The wiki should cover anything that can be changed.

You can also target 'everything' in some cases with a '*' selector, such
as setting a font, size, et cetera for the entire app. It isn't a
main-page vs. register-page sort of thing. Individual elements can be
targeted, and in some cases, those elements also have contexts (like a
register tab) that behave differently some times.

What is it specifically you want to change?

Regards,
Adrien
