[GNC] gnucash v.3.8 Reconciliation

Just to be clear, if a transaction has not been reconciled it will still be an issue.

The date range you are targeting in that regard, is irrelevant. (if a transaction has been pending since 2 months before, it will still show up)

The reconciliation function does not request a date range. It requests a closing date and amount.

It is asking you to verify all transactions that have not been cleared since the beginning of the book, to the closing date, that are part of the calculation getting you to the closing amount.
