[GNC] Can't find GNC_CONFIG_HOME or USER_DATA_HOME on Linux

No, GNC_CONFIG_HOME isn't a literal, it stands in for an OS-dependent location. See https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Configuration_Locations#GNC_CONFIG_HOME
